Simple Easter Basket

If you have been a follower for a while you probably know I love anything "easy."  The easier the better!  I love the fact that this cute little basket can be done with a 6" X 6" piece of card stock or Designer Series Paper.  That means you can get 4 of these cuties out of a 12" X 12" piece of paper.
Cut your paper to size and score it at 2" and 4", rotate it 90 degrees and score again at 2" and 4".
Cut up on the score lines on opposing sides and then use the corner rounder punch to snip the corners of the 2 outer flaps.  This just gives the basket a rounded appearance at the top.  It's a totally optional step.  Use your bone folder to crease along all the score lines and bring the sides together in front of the middle section.  Place your handle end, a 1" X 8 1/2" strip of paper, in between the layers.
Using your paper piercing tool pierce through all 4 layers and affix with a brad to hold them together.  You could certainly use adhesive for this step as well.
Of course there has to be some stamping!  So I used the cute little "Happy Easter" Egg from the Eggstra Spectacular set in the Occasions Catalog.  Too stinkin' cute when you add some Candy Dots for decoration!  You can see the video below!  Enjoy!
