Chalkboard Technique

Techniques are always so much fun, but some of them can be ohhhh so tricky...not this one!  The Chalkboard technique is a nice and easy way to create something a little different without a lot of fuss!  I created this card for those who have decided to join my team during Sale-a-Bration.  If you are interested in joining my team visit my "Join My Team" link at the top of the page for more info!
SAB is coming to a close in just a little over a week, so now is the time to get your order in to get those free goodies!  Both the DSP and the Banner Punch are free choices from the SAB brochure!
The secret to the "chalkboard" look is actually an Embossing Buddy!  When you drag it across and tap it onto the paper it leaves this fine powder that looks like a chalkboard that has been erased.  It is such an easy way to create a fun feel to a card.  I love this stamp set.  It is a Demonstrator Only set (so now is a great time to join so you can get it!) and it's also photopolymer which is way fun!  If you have never tried photopolymer before, you will love it!  They are so incredibly sticky!  You will never fight to get your stamps to stay on your blocks when you are using photopolymer!
Check out the video for all the details on this super cute card and join my team and I will send you one along with all your other goodies!
